Tofu scramble (vegan & oil free)

Add some color and nourishment to your morning with this easy-to-make tofu scramble

Ingredients:

  • 1 block extra firm tofu

    1/2 cup peppers (diced)

    1/2 one small onion (diced)

    1/2 tsp turmeric

    Salt & pepper to taste

    Optional:

    More veggies! (carrots, mushrooms, zucchini, or whatever you love!)

    Step-by-step:

    1. Prepare your veggies (wash and chop pepper and any other optional veggies; dice onion)

  • 2. To a large skillet on medium heat, sauté the onion and veggies for about 4-5 minutes (use veggie broth or water to deglaze the pan as needed)

  • 3. Next, crumble in your tofu (I recommend doing this with clean hands, or you can break it up with a heat safe spatula/other utensil)

  • 4. Add in your turmeric, salt, and pepper

  • 5. Allow to cook for an additional 5-10 minutes (until the tofu is heated up)

  • 6. Serve and enjoy!
